However, this service is not in India, but for the time being in Brazil.

WhatsApp Pay service has been launched in Brazil since June 18. According to the company, in the future, various companies will be able to join this digital payment platform. Users will not incur any additional cost to use the service on this payment platform. Not only that, credit and debit cards of almost all banks in Brazil can be used on WhatsApp Pay platform.

Each transaction will be protected by a six-digit ‘M PIN’ or fingerprint verification. Mark Zuckerberg's company Facebook announced this digital payment service last year. The company has been testing the beta version of the app in India for more than a year. However, it is not yet known when the service will be launched in the country.
